About IKAPI JABAR (West Java)

The Indonesian Publishers Association (IKAPI) is the only professional association of publishers in Indonesia that gathers book publishers from all over Indonesia. IKAPI was established on 17 May 1950 in Jakarta. IKAPI has members from all over Indonesia. The largest concentration of publishers is still in Java and the rest are spread across Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, as well as Bali, NTT, NTB, and Papua.
IKAPI JABAR currently has 357 publishers as members.

IKAPI's Role

Improving the quality and quantity of book publishing

Fight for the interests of its members and the book publishing industry

Establishing collaboration with all parties related to book publishing, both on national and international level

Pioneering, pushing and contributing in national and international books activities

Managing legal events and conducting other efforts which do not contradict Ikapi’s principles and aims

From West Java to the World

This program is a collaboration between publishers who are members of the West Java Publishers Association (IKAPI) to disseminate and develop digital literacy works to all corners of Indonesia. Only by scanning the barcode can literacy activists access free digital books anywhere and anytime.
